Viettel's six Gold Awards cover various fields, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and operational business activities.
Viettel’s AI products achieved a double Gold win with its Virtual Assistant in the "AI/Machine Learning Solution" category and Viettel eKYC in the "Identity and Access Security Solution" category. Viettel’s Virtual Assistant is currently being effectively utilized by ministries, provincial governments, and financial enterprises. Viettel's eKYC technology has received the international ISO 30107-3 certification for facial recognition (FaceID) at Level 2, the highest level globally, placing it on par with leading global companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and SenseTime (the largest AI company in China).

In addition to its technological products, Viettel was also honored with Gold Awards in logistics, communication, and marketing.
Lumitel (Viettel Burundi) was named the Company of the Year in Telecommunications. After over 10 years in business, Lumitel now holds a 64% market share in mobile services, serving over 5 million customers, making it one of the leading telecommunications providers in Burundi.

The IBA 2024 attracted 3,600 entries from 63 countries and territories. The evaluation process took place from May to August 2024, based on the average scores of over 300 global experts. The awards ceremony will be held in Turkey on October 11.
