Viettel received awards for nine solutions in the Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2024. Among the top 15 outstanding solutions, Viettel was the only entity honored in both core areas of the award: Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors.

Viettel's eKYC electronic identification system ranked in the top 5, receiving the highest award of the program, the Innovation Star Award. This solution helps prevent fraud with the highest level of biometric anti-counterfeiting technology in Vietnam, boasting a 0% error rate and the ability to detect 3D fraud methods such as silicon masks and deepfake technology.

Viettel’s digital chip design acceleration solution was honored in the semiconductor sector. The acceleration reduces research time by 30% and improves chip design quality, speeding up the product-to-market process and contributing to Viettel's mission of advancing Vietnam’s semiconductor industry, a key sector for the country’s future.

Other honored Viettel solutions include the Viettel Machine Learning Platform (vMLP), Smarthome Platform – a comprehensive solution for home safety and security monitoring, Customer Centric Artificial Intelligence (CCAI) – a multi-dimensional AI-based customer system, Data Platform As A Service – an ecosystem of data exploitation and analysis applications, among others.

Viettel's solutions were highly praised for their innovation, sustainability, application of modern technology, broad applicability, and cost-effectiveness, serving business, customer service, as well as research and technological development.

The Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2024, organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, had the theme "Innovating with Enterprises to Promote the Semiconductor Industry and Artificial Intelligence to Conquer the Global Market."
With the goal of seeking solutions from global organizations and individuals to address national-level challenges, aiming for a prosperous and sustainable Vietnam, the award attracted 750 solutions from 20 countries and territories.
